The Headwear Association is funded by generous support from our Platinum and International Sponsors. Individual memberships are just $25 (through June 30th).

We welcome all headwear brands, milliners, retailers & hat lovers to join The Headwear Association. Our organization has been promoting headwear for more than 100 years. We invite you to become part of the camaraderie we’ve built. We provide resources & host expert seminars relating to the headwear industry. Meet & create relationships with fellow milliners and retailers & gain access to insights from leading headwear brands.

We can help with sourcing, production, importing / tariffs & marketing questions within the headwear industry. 

Each year we honor our Retailer of the Year at our annual event in New York City. In 2026, we will honor both a Retailer of the Year & a Milliner of the Year.

This year, the Retailer & Milliner of the Year will be selected from our members. THA Members will vote for nominees, and an online membership vote will choose the winners. Our annual NYC event to recognize our Retailer and Milliner honorees & our FIT Scholarship winners will be held this Fall.

Individual Membership

Cost: $25 (Special Deal: Join by June 30th for $25. Annual Individual Membership will increase to $50 on July 1st.)
