This year marks the Ninth Annual Headwear for the Homeless initiative sponsored by The Headwear Association.
For nearly a decade, THA has distributed thousands of Free Winter Hats to homeless shelters and non-profit organizations nationwide each December.
This year’s generous event sponsors include Bollman Hat Company, Magid Hats, American Hat Makers and Dorfman Pacific. Each company will hold events in cities including Reading, PA; Harlem, NYC; Santa Cruz, CA and Stockton, CA.
Headwear for the Homeless giveaways will kick off with Bollman Hat Company and their events in Reading, PA on December 8th. Bollman has also supplied the Hat Ladies of Charleston with free hats for distribution at One80 Place in Charleston, SC. on December 8, 2016. We will be updating our website with details about upcoming events sponsored by Magid, American Hat Makers and Dorfman Pacific.

Distribute Free Winter Hats in Reading, PA
WHO: Bollman Hat Company will be joining The Headwear Association for the Ninth Annual Headwear for the Homeless campaign. America’s leading hat companies have joined forces to donate thousands of hats to homeless shelters and non-profit organizations nationwide.
WHAT: Bollman Hat Company will be supplying winter headwear to St Mary’s Shelter and Opportunity House in Reading, PA as part of The Headwear Association’s nationwide Headwear for the Homeless campaign. Bollman Hat Company will be distributing hundreds of new hats at these locations to provide bit of warmth and comfort to those who are disadvantaged.

WHY: When temperatures rapidly descend during those long winter months, thousands of the underprivileged are left in freezing temperatures. People lose up to 80 percent of body heat through their head. The Headwear Association is hoping to provide a bit of comfort to those in need this holiday season, and this is the ninth year that THA will be distributing warm hats to thousands of men, women, and children. Bollman Hat Company will once again be giving away warm hats and winter headwear to low income families in the Reading, PA area.
